little things

Reela

In most scenes when they are together their visual contact is more than friendly. UST people!

In "An Intern's Guide to the Galaxy" (season 11 - episode 5), Ray selects a chart of an easy case for Neela, even though he's doing all in his power to be the student with more cases solved. Guess he was feeling nice at that moment or...

In "The Providers" (season 11 - episode 13) Sam warns Luka to stop encouraging Neela's crush on him, and then says that everyone in the hospital knows about her feelings. Quite funny that when she mentions the doctors, Ray isn't named...

In "Middleman" (season 11 - episode 14) Neela tells Ray that the plumber went to the appartment and fixed the shower. He replies with an "I love you" and she responds with "You owe me $80". Not very romantic, right? Except that after that, Ray gives her a chart cause he's leaving, and then she looks up smiling. My guess: she really liked the "I love you" despite her attempt to ignore it.

In "Nobody's Baby" (season 12 - episode 2) Ray tells Neela and Abby to think of a number from 1 to 10, the one who picks the closer number to the one he thought will chose a student first. Neela says 7 and Abby 4, Ray says he'd picked 6 so Neela is the winner. But Abby complains, and I think maybe she was right, cause it's quite likely that he said 6 to favour Neela.

¿What kind of person sleeps with a man's shirt, that belongs to her roomie, without having feelings for him?

Talking about shirts, remember the lovely couch scene of "Out on a Limb" (season 12 - episode 16)?
I know you do! Do you remember what Ray was wearing?
Did you notice that he wore that same shirt in "Graduation Day" (season 13 - episode 2)?

Ray

If you've seen "A Walk to Remember" you know how the story ends...
If you haven't, stop reading!
Shane's character, Landon Carter, gets into med school, so we can say that he ended being... Dr Carter!
He joined ER after this movie, so it was like a premonition of what was to come.

Ray has a band, "Skunk Hollow", that he cares about more than his med career on his first season. Shane West, who portrays him, is musician and has a band as well.

Neela

Did you notice Neela is a bit of a drinker?
She drank in the episode "Missing" (season 10 - episode 9) when she go out with Abby, Pratt, Gallant and his sister to a bar, she got drunk and ranted about how everyone thinks of her as a good girl because she's British. In "NICU" (season 10 - episode 12) when she and Abby end the rotation in the NICU they go together to toast in the roof, but they do it with cider. In "Man With No Name" (season 12 - episode 3) she arrives to the llega a su department and Ray is taking off the fridge a couple of beers, Neela thinks one's for her, but it isn't (she gets all dissapointed). But then in "Out On A Limb" (season 12 - episode 16) she gets to drink a beer with her roomie. In the conference she attends with Dubenko, in "Lost In America" (season 12 - episode 17) she drinks a bit more than needed because of her frustruated exposition, when she gets home she rejects a beer offer from Ray cause "she's already drunk".

Did you know that the actor Anupam Kher, who played Jess's (Parminder Nagra) father in "Bend It Like Beckham", is the same who played Ajay, Neela's father in ER?

When Neela first arrived to the ER, Pratt felt attraceted by her, but Chen was there, so he ended being just a friend. She had a crush on Luka, that wasn't responded, but it's impossible to deny that Luka can't help being seductive. Morris invited her out the day she was graduating because she's "beautiful and smart". In the episode"The Human Shield" (season 12 - episode 7) she was suppost to go out to have dinner with Michael so she was wearing a fancy dress in the ER and Clemente noticed the difference and he, well, he voiced it. Is not really necessary for me to say, but you know that story that began a bit rough, then they were friends, then Roomies and then she was "the best friend he ever had". Well, you-know who happened later, and even later, you-know-who-II came.
So I can say that the whole India+England combo is rocking the US!
